Kathy Jackson leaves Federal Court with a bloody nose and the promise of much worse to come.
Today in the Federal Court case the Health Services Union had brought against Kathy Jackson a number of things happened.
First and foremost the Court ruled against Kathy Jackson ordering that she pay the HSU $1,338,626 plus an extra $67,912 for extra salary she was paid. On top of this she will pay interest and the HSU’s legal costs with the final bill estimated at around $2.1 Million.

But that is the obvious part, a number of other things also occurred.
Today in Federal Court the Trade Union Royal Commission was dealt another crippling blow to it’s integrity.
The Royal Commission had gone to extreme efforts to protect the golden-haired pseudo whistleblower. At one point Commissioner Heydon even interrupted Jackson’s testimony as she unwittingly admitted to committing a crime and even called a short recess, however the train had already left the tracks and there was no reverse gear to be found. Many may remember how those testifying against Jackson’s union faction, such as Craig McGregor were attacked and berated on the witness stand while Jackson’s allies were treated like visiting members of the royal family.
Despite her making a mockery of the Commission with her theatrics the Commissioner allowed her to delay proceedings so that she was never pursued on the stand by the HSU’s lawyer to any reasonable extent.
Another thing that happened in Federal Court today was the parliamentary apology put to parliament by Christopher Pyne and backed by the Coalition for the words of Craig Thomson in his parliamentary address. Todays outcome makes a mockery of the apology done to once again dump undeserved praise on someone who was less than worthy. The words of Craig Thomson in his address barely scratched the surface, maybe it is Thomson who should apologise for going to soft on Jackson and her faction.
The Federal Court decision today makes Tony Abbott’s judgement look even less than average. The woman the court today found had seemingly defrauded some of the countries lowest paid workers of $1.4 Million, Tony Abbott praised in parliament as being courageous and decent. Now we wait to see if Tony Abbott’s brave bandit can avoid paying up by transferring her multi-million dollar property into the name of the man Tony Abbott appointed as Vice President of Fair Work Commission, Michael Lawler. An appointment he refuses to terminate despite Lawler taking more than six months off work as “leave” fully paid at the rate of $435K per annum by a bunch of suckers better known as the taxpaying public. A rort that makes Bronwyn Bishop look like an amateur.
However another victim of todays Federal Court decision would have to be the mainstream media.
While Tony Abbott may have sung Jackson’s praises in parliament, he was not alone. Realistically he was only joining in the chorus being belted out by the vast majority of those in the mainstream media.
She was the media darling, the one with all of the dirt on Craig Thomson such as the hookers and brothels. The media lapped it all up like a big salivating dog never questioning finding it odd that they were the same brothels Kathy’s ex-husband allegedly frequented. The same hookers and brothels that Thomson was eventually found not guilty of in all of the charges relating to them after years of public humiliation and smear at the hands of journalists who preferred to be lazy and run with the herd rather than put an effort into seeking out the truth.
Some will say they had no idea, but there are some who were more than aware of the facts. However some of these people chose to try to threaten me legally rather than cease being a mouthpiece for Kathy Jackson and her allies.

Now we wait to see how much money the lawyers can find in Jackson’s estate to return to the long-suffering members.
The decision regarding the transfer of Jackson’s property into the name of Tony Abbott’s appointee Michael Lawler remains in the hands of the court. However I am confident that this transfer will not go through as to allow it to move forward would be both a travesty and a miscarriage of justice.
For Kathy and her allies it must make them feel good that this is just the civil part of her legal fight, the criminal charges are yet to come. I’m sure with the efforts of a combined Victorian and Federal taskforce asking the questions there won’t be enough buses for Kathy’s former friends to throw each other under.
The bad days for Kathy are far from over, in fact they’ve only just begun.
VicPol inquiries?……Could be waiting a while longer for anything to happen there……….Not like the combined forces, stage managed and choreographed and fully media covered ‘raids’ on Mr. Thomsons premises. This case was always a sick joke orchestrated by puppet-masters, time the strings were cut!
Watching Leigh Sales on 730 tonight, reporting this as though it was some sort of major shock, was cringe worthy and appalling. It illustrated perfectly how badly the MSM have failed in their duty to report accurately on this saga.

Thomson didn’t end up in the slammer, his original sentence was 3 months but that was squashed on appeal

The MSM was not just missing in action but in my opinion some journalists, especially Kate McClymont seemed to be baying for Craig Thomson’s blood at the behest of their dear friend and whistleblower, Kathy Jackson. Maybe Kate should be considering handing back her Walkley as at the best you could say she was taken for a fool at the worst that she ingored the evidence that did not fit her agenda.

Peter …journalism is the richer for your untiring, investigative work in unmasking the evil that is Jackson and her cohorts. It is beyond belief not a single section of the MSM has had the guts to publicly acknowledge your years of at times, thankless slog to ensure the truth about Jackson and her disgusting crimes is revealed and punished.
I hope in quick time the HSU will endorse your efforts, across the entire media spectrum. As with your work assisting Craig Thomson, workers in all sections of endeavor should be thankful journalists as yourself while small in number, shame the majority.

Thank you so much Peter for your intelligent, and doggedly excellent investigative journalism. What a terrible shame for Australians that the art of investigative journalism is so diminished with the Main Stream Media,especially with the Murdoch Media. I have followed this from day one. I always felt that both Craig Thomson and Peter Slipper were used as pawns in the Coalition’s desperate grab for power during the Rudd and Gillard terms. Hopefully each one of them will be fully vindicated, however, as their lives and those of their families have been shattered, nothing will ever be able to repair this. The Coalition politics has sunk to an unprecedented low.

It should have been done when it mattered the most, not as a contrived response to surprise revelations.
The ABC (like the rest of the MSM) will have to explain why they deliberately avoided comment on the mounting documented evidence that appeared on this site as it was happening but chose to blindly follow the populist anti-Thomson narrative dictated by the Liberal Party.

I hope Ms Jackson receives the fullest consequences of the law for destroying the lives of others, particularly Mr Thomson and his family. A Royal Commission into this affair is more than warranted.
