Andrew Bolt found guilty in court of racial discrimination, the funniest thing I’ve heard in years.

I knew it had happened when I felt the earth shake under my feet, and I knew the only cause for a tremor that big would have been Bolt’s ego falling to the floor with a thud.

I’m not going to go into the case against him, there will be many of others that will do that I’m sure. What I will do though is echo the voices of right wingers all over the country today, and stick up for freedom of speech.

Bolt’s charge though, it should be remembered was not a freedom of speech issue, more a tasteless racist series of remarks that anybody with an ounce of decency would take offense at, Aboriginal or not.

It is true, freedom of speech for all is important, vital even.

Even the slimiest paedophile should have freedom to express his views. As should the Nazi sympathiser, the convicted rapist, the serial killer, the scum who prey on the elderly to steal their pensions, and the nastiest racist bastard on earth… they all deserve a say.

If you fit into one of those groups listed above, I did not mean to offend you by comparing you to Andrew Bolt, I’m just trying to make  a point.

The numbers are so you can all freely express yourselves by dialling the number for the Channel 10 studio closest to you and telling them you would like the programme “Bolt” taken off the air ASAP, as you don’t think the rants of a proven racist are appropriate to be aired on mainstream television.
